On Monday 9th February 2026, Lodge representatives, the Chairman, Charity Officers and Trustees of Lisburn District Masonic Charity Fund visited Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council offices for a Mayors reception. Alderman Amanda Grehan, the Mayor of LCCC warmly welcomed the Brethren for refreshments and a great chat discussing what the Masonic order do, for not only our members via the Masonic Charities, but for outside charities. During the visit, a cheque from the LDMCF for £2,500 was presented for the Mayor’s nominated charity, Action Cancer, to provide health screening and Breast Cancer awareness via their mobile screening unit within the Lisburn & Castlereagh Council area. In his usual style, RW Bro Tommy Yarr presented the Mayor with one of his hand crafted palm gavels.
LDMCF are grateful to Mayor Amanda for her hospitality.
